I'm the Digital Director at Dazed Media, where I oversee the growth and development of Dazed, AnOther and NOWNESS.
Beyond Reach is a monthly newsletter about traffic, growth and audience development trends. It was born out of a weekly internal memo called Ctrl + Alt + Repeat that I write for the team at Dazed Media as part of my role as Digital Director.
You can expect round-ups of must-read pieces, deep dives on shifting audiences, summaries of experiments and launches, and passable jokes. If you work in digital publishing, this is the newsletter for you. I hope you find it useful.

Before joining Dazed in 2022, I was the Acting Editor-in-Chief of HuffPost UK and steered its 40-person newsroom through the Covid pandemic, global civil rights movement and the early stages of the site's acquisition by BuzzFeed in 2020. I was also Executive Editor of Audience Development and responsible for social media, search engine optimisation, data in the newsroom and audience growth.
Previously, I was based in New York with The Guardian as Deputy and then Head of Audience Development for a number of years, including the Trump presidency. I held similar roles in the London newsroom too.

I've spoken at the Tow Center at Columbia University, Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism and PA’s Festival of Journalism with the Google News Initiative.
